At least 2-years of recent experience as a Licensed RN in a hospital or acute setting

Assesses, utilizing age specific data, the patient’s physical, psychosocial, and spiritual status in a comprehensive manner

Performs initial assessment and completes required documentation within organizational standards

Performs and documents ongoing assessments including observation, physical examination, laboratory/test results, and patient response to procedural intervention

Current certification in Basic Life Support, Basic Rescue Level C, or Heartsaver Plus issued by SJHC.

Previous ICU experience is an asset.

Ability to set priorities and work with minimum supervision.

Ability to provide portering and transportation services for patients and supplies.

Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.

Demonstrated knowledge of budget planning and preparation principles, concepts and methods.

Knowledge of research methodology, practices and techniques.

Excellent investigative, analytical and problem solving skills.

Computer skills: Proficiency in using computer software such as Microsoft Office is required.

Availability: ICU operations run 24/7, so candidates must have the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.

Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Permanent-Part time, (90% FTE), 63 Hours Bi-weekly

Previous experience as a patient services assistant (Desirable)
