Under the direction of the Academic Chair, conduct scholarly activities, pursue external funding, and disseminate knowledge.

Master’s degree in STEM or STEM Education (with a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field) from an accredited institution.

Doctorate in a STEM field or STEM Education from an accredited institution would be considered an asset.

Demonstrated experience in delivering learner-centered courses.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-work skills.

Experience teaching undergraduate education courses, including serving as a teaching assistant.

Strong organization and communication skills.

A commitment to the University’s Indigenous initiatives, and principles of equity, diversity, and inclusivity.

Preference will be given to candidates with a strong K-12 classroom teaching background and demonstrated teaching excellence.

Familiarity and facility with online teaching platforms such as Moodle, D2L, etc.
