Ability to teach and instruct patients and families/care givers about topics essential to their health care and well-being.

Additional chronic disease management education preferred.

2 years related recent experience preferred.

CNA Community Health Nurses Certification or relevant applicable certification preferred.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position will be in accordance with the WRHA policy.

Recent, related experience is preferred.

Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.

5+ years of relevant experience as a Registered Nurse

Emergency/critical care, medicine/surgical, community nursing, rehab and Paeds experience an asset

Working knowledge of community resources and roles of health care professionals

Current Level C CPR certification. ACLS, CTAS required or acquired within twelve (12) months from date of hire.

Must be willing to attain in house certification courses as required.
