Healing Lodge Therapist Jobs

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Previous experience in a housekeeping position is an asset

Current, valid First Aid certification is an asset

Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

General cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing within cleaning target times

Making beds and changing sheets as per the schedule

Oversee daily operations in the kitchen including preparation of all food to be served to guests and staff.

Oversee meal planning and prepare alternative meals for guests with special dietary requests.

Assist the Sous chef with planning for the execution of the apres appetizer.

Responsible for placing food orders and keeping inventory of stock in the head chef's absence

Coach and assist kitchen staff in the execution of their tasks when needed.

Manage the pre-booked daily schedule and sign-up sheet.

Manage the inventory of massage supplies and relay replenishment needs to the office.

Qualifications for Massage Therapists at Baldface Lodge:

Registered Massage Therapist or Massage Therapist

Registered Massage Practitioner or Massage Practitioner

Perform scheduled guest massages during shifts.

Shovel main lodge, chalet entrances and other building access areas as required.

Chop and re-stock firewood/kindling in the lodge and sauna daily.

Light sauna @ 2 pm daily in preparation for our guest’s return from shredding.

Assist maintenance crew with repairs and maintenance.

Cooperate and assist all departments in resolving issues as related to the job.

Work with the Inside Homie as a backup in the dish pit after dinner service.

Fill hot and cold drinking water containers throughout the lodge when the need arises.

Re-stock cups, cutlery and glasses in the dining room and bar area.

Empty garbage and recycling bins in the dining room and bar area daily.

Clean the kitchen thoroughly at the end of each day.

Assist kitchen staff in the execution of their tasks when needed.

Assist in unloading the food order weekly.

Performs clerical work as assigned from all Department Managers.

Applicants must have excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and organizational skills;

Knowledgeable on AR & AP procedures;

Experienced in long-term care administration is preferred.

Previous experience in the hospitality industry and luxury market

A high standard and knowledge of service and wine are desirable but not essential.

Basic computer skills- spreadsheets and emails
