Previous baking and/or customer service experience is an asset, but it’s not required. We’re happy to train you

CONTINUING EDUCATION IN LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT

·Manage program from a systems and execution perspective based on retail and wholesale requirements

·Communicate with Production management team, as well as store managers as required daily

·Communicate issues or problems to management team so that solutions can be found as efficiently as possible

The main scopes of work for the Bread Program Manager will be the following:

·Time manage team to perform production in the time required

Connects with the Department Head, who will oversee the promotion of the undergraduate role of the Department of Family Medicine,

Connects with the Residency, Undergraduate, Faculty Development, Research and Medical Directors as required.

Food costing and labour management

Oversee, manage, and train a number of staff and quality control of their production

Salary to be determined based on experience.

Ensure department and all stations are kept clean and organised at all times (this is a completely open plan kitchen!!)

Maintain equipment to the highest standard of cleanliness and report maintenance issues

Ordering and inventory of all items as related to the bakery department

Must have baking experience minimum of 1 year

Provide great customer service by ensuring the store shelves are stocked and by responding to customer needs

Maintain and stock product displays and shelves that meet company standards

Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs and assist with ordering

Setup company-directed promotions and programs

Keep department areas neat and ensure health and safety standards

Basic level of bakery knowledge is required

Minimum of three months experience

Provide customer service to meet customer needs

Prepare baked items for customer purchase

Provide bakery training to new staff

Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
