Hardware Asset Analyst Jobs

Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in the investment management, actuarial or insurance industries;

Previous experience in financial engineering and structuring of investment management solutions for institutional investors;

Manage the collateral management and reporting component of an assigned portfolio of Asset Based Lending (ABL) accounts.

Ensure daily monitoring of client loan positions, identifying trends and notifying Portfolio Management of any deterioration.

Identify and be alert for revenue opportunities that can be taken to Portfolio Management for consideration.

Assist Portfolio Management and Associates with adhoc requests as needed.

Submit and approve administrative electronic transaction requests and monitor receipt of reporting requirements for ABL and non-ABL borrowing clients.

Monitor client’s compliance to the terms and conditions of loan and other agreements, ensuring client is operating within ABL requirements.

Relevant university degree (such as Business, Economics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Computer Science) or equivalent relevant experience with Investment Finance processes

Good background skills and knowledge of accounting and reconciliation processes

Under the guidance of team members, carries out daily work within the Investment Finance “units”:

Maintains personal awareness and current knowledge of issues affecting the Board's operations

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think through problems, assess a variety of factors and recommend a solution

Excellent quantitative and computer skills (Excel and Access), including an understanding of database concepts

Knowledge of product development or manufacturing

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects at once, while still understanding the bigger picture

A strong desire to learn and take on new and challenging responsibilities

Linux / Bash Experience including SSH and command line tools

Working knowledge of git and Azure Dev Ops

Strong communicator, ability to speak to different levels of management, types of individuals

Retail Experience (Store Operations, DC Operations)

Proficient MS Excel Experience / Microsoft Suite

Business Analysis and requirements gather fundamentals

The project centers around the implementation and distribution of hardware including mobile devices, laptops, tablets, etc.

Samsung devices being distributed to associates part of a welcome package

University degree or college diploma in Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience

3-5 years’ experience in an industrial shop maintenance, or operational environment in a data management intensive role

Strong background in asset management and knowledge of asset management principles is considered an asset

Supports department in development of Asset Management Plans as well as budgeting and other financial analyses

Other duties as assigned by department as it relates to Asset Management

Excellent financial literacy, knowledge of capital planning, and business case requirements

3+ years of experience within the Wealth Management, platform, banking or other relevant industry.

Supports the BAU function with deliverables as and when required, ensure knowledge of process is maintained by performing BAU tasks regularly

Assists in the implementation, maintenance, and utilization of the computerized Infrastructure Management System (IMS), Geographic Information System (GIS) and maintenance management;

Must have proven knowledge of Civil Engineering and municipal infrastructure concepts.

Must have proven knowledge of budget concepts, cost accounting, and cost analysis.

Must have excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Should have knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, its regulations and knowledge of the hazards associated with the work.

Direct domain experience in Engineering Document Management or Engineering Information Systems for Owner / Operators or EPC’s, including:

A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Use business analyst skills including process model development, workflow, swim-lane and agile workshop processes with which to undertake engagements.

Completion of key requirements and deliverables.

Strong experience in applying SQL to datasets upon which to parse and assess the information held on those datasets.

Strong experience in sophisticated presentation of complex information in XL and/or Dashboard technology.
