Overview Group Exercise Instructors are responsible for leading group exercise classes, such as aerobics, yoga, Pilates, and other forms of exercise. They create and lead exercise routines that are safe and effective for participants of all ages and fitness levels. They must be knowledgeable about anatomy, physiology, and exercise techniques, and be able to motivate and inspire their classes. Detailed Job Description Group Exercise Instructors are responsible for leading group exercise classes, such as aerobics, yoga, Pilates, and other forms of exercise. They create and lead exercise routines that are safe and effective for participants of all ages and fitness levels. They must be knowledgeable about anatomy, physiology, and exercise techniques, and be able to motivate and inspire their classes. Group Exercise Instructors must be able to demonstrate proper form and technique, and provide feedback and modifications to participants. They must also be able to assess the fitness levels of their participants and adjust the intensity of the class accordingly. Group Exercise Instructors must also be able to create a safe and welcoming environment for all participants. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification from a recognized fitness organization
• CPR/AED certification
• First Aid certification
• Previous experience teaching group exercise classes
