Planning, implementing, and evaluating individual and group activities, in collaboration with the Supervisor.

Preparing for activities and helping residents to the activity areas.

Minimum two (2) years practical experience working with students and/or student registration;

As part of legislative requirements, all successful candidates must meet the provincial police check and tuberculosis screening requirements as applicable.

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification (BCLS) preferred

Ensures and promotes the provision of resident-focused care to meet the needs of residents

Provides cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support

Minimum of three (3) years experience in graphic design, marketing or related field.

Assists with the creation of innovation concepts for marketing materials and campaigns as directed by members of the AC Hub team;

Assists with the production of promotional material for Student Support Services;

Designs relevant graphics, concepts and artwork using Adobe Create Suite within design specifications provided by AC Hub team;

Provides quality control to ensure to delivered products and services adhere to the brand policies and standards of Algonquin College;

Proofreads, edits, material as required.

2+ years of recent experience in community health or a related field.

Pain and symptom management needs of palliative care patients.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in community health or a related field.

Training/certification specific to palliative care (i.e., Fundamentals, LEAP, CAPCE, etc.).

Strong assessment and decision-making skills.

Superior interpersonal and communication skills; high Emotional Intelligence is a must.

A minimum of 3 to 4 years of professional graphic design experience

Experience working in multi platform integrated campaigns (web, social, digital, PowerPoint, Print, etc.) is a strong asset

Experience in infographic development and dynamic PowerPoint presentations

Experience adapting English materials into multilingual materials, working from translated documents is a strong asset.

1-2+ years of experience working in a sales driven environment.

Knowledge of construction and the ability to read blueprints and floor plans

1-2 years relevant work experience in construction, design, and/or healthcare project management.

Understanding of Alternative Financing and Procurement and experience with construction contracts and contract management preferred.

Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize competing project timelines.

Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Project, an asset.
