Global Supply Chain Specialist Jobs in Ontario

Lead the back-order management process.

Responsible for the development, implementation, and management of standard operating procedures and adherence to Baxter’s established practices and procedures.

3 + years in Supply Chain/Operations/Contract Management/Sales Support

Financial experience including cost structure, P&L knowledge

Log and manage service complaints for the strategic accounts

Minimum college degree with a specialization in Operations/supply chain or APICS certification and /or working towards (i.e. CPIM)

Work with the General Manager to develop an effective Supply Chain Strategy

Experience in the development and execution of supply chain plans

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Build out the Supply Chain Team organization with the required resources

Vet and establish new vendors in an effort to reduce costs and increase Supply Chain reliability

Set up Supply Agreements with key vendors

Minimum of 2 years’ people management experience

Professional polish and poise in front of senior management executives

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Procurement/ QA/ Supply Chain role or equivalent role with strong analysis capabilities.

Manage vendor risk via analysis

Manages overall supply chain strategy

Interfaces with finance, execution & engineering to ensure on-time delivery of products.

Excellent communication skills. Must be motivated, meet deadlines and work well under pressure

Several years of successful experience in a similar role, preferably within packaging, labelling

Solid experience in utilizing SAP

Understand, follow and enforce all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices.

Synchronizing the supply chain resources to ensure that our customer’s expectations are met and to optimize productivity of our manufacturing facility.

Solid academic background (College/ University in Business, Operations or Supply Chain)

At least 1 year of education or experience working in one or more aspects of the supply chain industry.

8-10 years category management, sourcing, and analytical work experience

Previous experience within Category Management or Strategic Sourcing in a Retail environment preferred

Advanced communication skills and capabilities in negotiating and leading a cross functional team-based approach to spend reduction

Demonstrated competency in supplier performance management strategy and methodology

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with all levels of the workforce including senior leadership and executive management

Manage and optimize supplier performance, including contract compliance, continuous improvement, innovations, and reduction in total cost of ownership

·Minimum of Five (5) years experience in the Global Supply Chain Management of any of the following:

·Management of the purchasing and logistics department

·Management of the warehousing operation
