General Superintendent – Homebuilding Jobs

Combination of work experience in a similar role and industry related trade certification / education.

Reviews subtrade/supplier invoices against the field purchase orders and report any discrepancies to the Project Manager or the accounting department.

Previous Turnaround Experience in pre-planning, scheduling and execution.

3 to 8 years construction supervision experience.

Previous experience as a GF, Superintendent or similar direct supervisory role.

Ability to plan and manage to a project schedule.

An Appetite for Personal Improvement and Growth- You are always open to learn new skills and receive constructive advice.

Strong Leadership and Team Building Skills– You are mature enough to know that titles or authority doesn`t equate to strong leadership.

Min 10+ years of direct experience supervising residential low-rise construction at both the rough and finish stages of construction.

Solid working knowledge of Tarion’s Construction Performance Guidelines.

Excellent communication skills both written (via email) or oral.
