General Ledger Clerk Jobs

Strong keyboarding and computer skills with experience using Windows based applications

Excellent oral and written communication skills (strong grammar, spelling and proofreading abilities)

Data entry such as Time Tracking and Daily TIR

Grade 12 Ontario Secondary School diploma (OSSD) or General Education Diploma (GED)

Possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word, Excel and Outlook)

Providing reports to management as required

Processing and coding purchase invoices

Preparation of payment runs via BACS

Setting up new suppliers on the system following company procedures

Liaising with internal colleagues to resolve queries

Supporting other members of the team as required

4 years equivalent experience may be substituted for education requirements.

Work closely with Accounting Manager to ensure all transactions are properly recorded in the financial ledgers of the company.

Attention to detail and accuracy; Planning and organizing; Communication skills; Problem analysis and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrate excellent customer service, initiative and teamwork skills.

Perform various monthly account and bank reconciliations.

Assist in the monthly and annual closing process.

Location: Hybrid role-Near Stouffville, ON

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (40 hours/wk)

Salary: Up to $97K including profit sharing
