No degree, certifi cate or diploma

Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops

Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment

Combination of sitting, standing, walking

Willingness and ability to learn; strong team and interpersonal skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

Experience in hog production would be considered an asset

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Positive work ethic and attitude, attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities and complex tasks simultaneously

General farm workers can become specialized in a particular type of crop or livestock production through experience.

Basic farm knowledge, usually obtained from working on a family farm, may be required for employment.

Progression to supervisory positions is possible with experience.

Agricultural service contractors, farm supervisors and specialized livestock workers

General farm workers perform some or all of the following duties:

Plant, fertilize, cultivate, spray, irrigate and harvest crops

Self-motivated individual with a strong drive to achieve results. Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills.

Work with or assist Management in sourcing required products.

In this newly created Management role, you will:

Communicate requirements with Farm Operators to ensure product application is timely. Record all application data and information, daily and/or by field.

Excellent leadership and relationship building skills. Strong written and verbal communication, as well as listening skills.

▪ Related farming, crop production and agronomy experience.

Manage incoming calls and other communications.

Helping organize and maintain office common areas. Performing general office clerk duties and errands.

Experience as a virtual assistant.

Experience as an office assistant or related field.

Warm personality with strong communication skills.

Greet customers and visitors as needed.
