Overview:

Framers or framer helpers are responsible for constructing and assembling the frames of buildings, such as houses, commercial buildings, and other structures. They measure and cut materials, such as lumber, steel, and aluminum, and use tools such as saws, hammers, and drills to assemble the frames. They must also be able to read blueprints and follow instructions to ensure that the frames are built correctly. Framers or framer helpers may also be responsible for installing insulation, drywall, and other materials. They must be able to work safely and efficiently in order to complete projects on time and within budget.
