Food Services Worker – Tim Hortons Closer Jobs

Manage all inbound applications to the point of closing

Attend regular department and manager meetings/trainings

1+ years of sales experience (preferably in High Ticket Closing)

Experience (or desire to work) in the coaching industry

Strong communication skills, well spoken over the phone

Coachable and open to critiquing in order to increase skills

Recent experience/training in a food service setting required.

Must have demonstrated teamwork, interpersonal and communication (both verbal & written) skills.

Must have strong customer service skills.

High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.

Food Handlers Course required (or willingness to maintain within one year of hire).

WHMIS required (or willingness to maintain within six months of hire).

Carries out any other related duties as required in keeping with the qualifications and requirements of positions in this classification.

Assists with and recommends scheduling options to the unit manager.

Monitors and reviews cost controls, such as, labour costs, food costs and waste and overhead expenses, with unit manager.

Supervises the workload of food service workers, ensuring employees meet UBC Food Services customer service standards.

Trains food service workers, following up to ensure an understanding of the material covered.

Minimum 1 year experience in a high volume food service related industry;

Strong organizational skills and ability to multi task;

Prepares all food required for daily service;

Ensure all equipment needed for the day is clean and powered on for service;

Transfers required product from storage to the Short Order Area;

Prepares ingredients for a la carte service;

Completes all required documentation including recording of waste, inventory counts, pre-rush checklists, cash management, and operational audits with manager;

Communicates with Manager of the location and with members of the location on day to day operations;

One (1) year related experience in a commercial food service operation specializing in merchandising, sales, cash systems and customer service;

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi task;

Follows all guidelines and established par stocks when ordering, stock rotation, inventory counts, and receiving stock;

Provides efficient service at the kiosk including required food preparation, beverage duties, and daily cash procedures;

One year related experience in a commercial food service operation specializing in merchandising, sales, cash systems and customer service;

Strong organizational skills and ability to multi task;

Responsible for running cash for lunch and dinner rushes, handling cash transactions;

Provides efficient customer service, including required food preparation, food service, beverage duties;

Completes the restocking for the following shift which includes cups, lids, napkins, coffee machines, soup area;

Replenishes Grab ‘n Go refrigerators on an ongoing basis and keeps these clean and organized;

Completes all required documentation including recording of waste, inventory counts, pre-rush checklists, cash management, and operational audits with manager;
