They inspect food products, equipment, and processes to ensure that they comply with government regulations and industry standards. They also develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure that food products are safe and of high quality. Detailed Job Description Food Safety Quality Assurance Technicians are responsible for inspecting food products, equipment, and processes to ensure that they meet safety and quality standards. They inspect food products for contamination, spoilage, and other defects. They also inspect food production equipment to ensure that it is clean and in good working order. They also inspect food processing and packaging processes to ensure that they are in compliance with government regulations and industry standards. Food Safety Quality Assurance Technicians also develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure that food products are safe and of high quality. They monitor food production processes to ensure that they are in compliance with established standards. They also develop and implement corrective action plans when necessary. Food Safety Quality Assurance Technicians also conduct laboratory tests to ensure that food products meet safety and quality standards.
