Floral Department Clerk Jobs

Minimum of 3 years’ floral design experience in a retail environment;

Garden Centre experience would be an asset;

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

To provide excellent customer relations through selling, educating and consulting in order to strengthen customer loyalty;

To design innovative and exciting fresh, silk and dried flower arrangements;

Maintain Work Force Management records

Perform payroll and benefit functions

Provide store reports to departments as instructed by the Manager/ Administrator

Other inventory functions assigned by the Administration Manager

Above average communication skills (both oral and written

Working knowledge of Kronos and SAP software

Grade XII plus one year related experience or one year related program

Experience using PHS and STAR, Advanced PHS training preferred

Computer experience (Windows, MS Office) and typing/keyboarding are required

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Co-ordination, organization and decision making abilities must be present

Customer service courses an asset

Demonstrated knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Graduate of a post-secondary secretarial or office administration program or equivalent required

Graduation from an approved Medical Terminology course required

Ability to work in an area with frequent interruptions

Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Keyboarding skills of 25 wpm and maximum 5% error rate and data entry experience.

Ability to prioritize job requirements and work in an effective and efficient manner.

Grade XII and successful completion of an approved Office Administration program.

Successful completion of a Medical Terminology course required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, E-mail, Internet, Intranet, MEDITECH.

Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays and on short notice.

Experience with Meditech module(s) Admitting/Registration preferred

Experience with Order Entry EMR preferred

Previous experience in a health care setting as asset

Demonstrated skill in working collaboratively and effectively with others required

An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered for this position

Provide great customer service by ensuring the store shelves are stocked and by responding to customer needs

Maintain and stock product displays and shelves that meet company standards

Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs and assist with ordering

Setup company-directed promotions and programs

Keep department areas neat and ensure health and safety standards
