Financial Intern Jobs

Be part of a Finance team responsible for the accurate and timely reporting for an entity with over 200,000 managed vehicles;

Provide information (including various reports and insight) to Finance and other departments;

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; and

Assist with various month-end and quarter-end reporting;

Review current processes with an eye towards efficiency, and create process documentation;

Assist with the insurance certificate process;

Maintaining case management systems and workflows,

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (French would be an asset)

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team

The ability to elaborate innovative solutions and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Recovering and analyzing electronically stored information,

Support digital evidence preservation, chain of custody protocols and forensic analysis,

Conduct performance verification for asset management companies under CFA GIPS requirement

Be involved in different risk management consulting projects for our clients

Work in a fast-paced and thought-provoking environment with like-minded people who are experienced and respected in quantitative finance fields

Market and/or credit risk management

Good programming skills (e.g. SAS/R/Visual Basic/C++) and knowledge of database tools

Develop professional skills needed to advance in your chosen career path

Prepare monthly management reporting deliverables that clearly communicate actual performance vs. budget and key metrics.

Any accounting, finance, or audit related work experience

May perform additional ad-hoc projects or provide support to other teams within Finance upon request

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Engage in various finance-related activities that arise in a startup environment

Currently pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Gain valuable experience in financial forecasting and capital raising

Learn about the inner workings of a startup and the finance industry

1-2 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments
