Job Title: Finance - Financial Analyst - Specialist

: Position Title: Director, Financial Reporting Line of Business: Finance

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid - in office on Wednesdays and Thursdays

Looking for strong soft skills and will involve some behavioural questions.

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business Administration.

Previous accounting experience in a similar role in a similar sized organization

Experience managing large volumes of data

Strong Excel skills, with the ability to compile and analyse large volumes of data in an efficient manner.

Ability to work with remote, geographically diverse teams on a daily basis.

Proven communication and relationship building skills with the ability to present financial and non-financial information in a clear and effective manner.

Prepare management reporting for client groups and participate in monthly finance review meetings highlighting key business trends and variances

Strong collaboration and communication skills. Ability to communicate results and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.

Knowledge of SAP (ideal) and CPM management reporting tools (OneStream, TM1, Hyperion, BPC).

Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes

5+ years of finance and/or accounting experience with progressive responsibility in Financial Planning and Analysis.

Exceptional organizational skills to prioritize, manage and implement various competing initiatives.

Provide feedback to Sales Finance Manager on monthly basis on variances to budget or most recent forecast on customer spend.

Provide Key Account Managers with financial support to assess new trade promos; seasonal buys; and the impact of pricing changes.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred

5 years of financial experience, preferably with a CPG company, pricing experience preferred

Excellent analytical and strong communication skills

Experience in identifying financial risks and exposures and preparing analysis

• 3+ years of progressive experience from a large public accounting firm or publicly listed company

• Strong Excel skills and the ability to use data analytics tools

Key high level deliverable is to drive results for a key business unit

Support the effective execution of periodic reporting of operational metrics and provide pricing and margin analysis

Build productive relationships with key business leaders

Support strategic decision making and initiatives in order to improve EBITDA and other key measures

Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance/Accounting with well-defined Accounting knowledge

Strong analytical skills with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; as well as established project management skills

Bachelor’s degree in Finance- Accounting or Business Administration required

Business Unit (BU) lead for innovation and renovation project financials

Increases visibility by leveraging cross functional partners (Rev Man- Operations- Supply Chain) to enable senior leadership to efficiently make comprehensive decisions

Drive ROI mindset across investments (Capex- Trade- etc.)

Displays first-rate customer service skills - willing to help with a positive attitude when/where needed, and be helped with gratitude

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel

Effective communication (both oral and written), organization and interpersonal skills

Leads overhead forecast reviews, utilizes historical and trending data to validate forecast, and follows Company standards for cost and revenue reporting

Shows eagerness to learn details of the business to better understand and communicate financial reports and data

Prepares client invoicing, manages accounts receivable and revenue, and reviews project cash flow projection on a monthly basis

0 - 5 years of financial/data analysis experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or an equivalent degree

Basic working knowledge of accounting, including: general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax

Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel

Present various analyses and reports for senior management, such as operating metrics and corporate financial results to support their business decision-making

Produce financial reporting deliverables provided to the Board and senior management

Strong financial systems experience, including advanced Excel skills

Two to three (2-3) years of progressive work experience in an accounting or auditing function

Leadership and interpersonal skills, and the willingness to always support the team
