Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation

Strong PC skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Strong accounting / finance academic background

Assist in preparation of monthly operating results and weekly revenue

Assist in quarterly forecast, annual and multi-year plan cycle

Build models to facilitate drive-based forecast/planning

Build monthly analytics for Investor Services revenue and NIE

Experience auditing clients who comply with NI 52-109 and/or SOX 404 regulatory requirements

Establish and maintain relationships with client management.

A Canadian CPA designation (or an equivalent international qualification), and at least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience

Technical accounting experience in IFRS and US GAAP along with multiple years of audit experience at a top accounting firm

Assist senior bankers (VPs and MDs) on client coverage initiatives

Conduct industry and market research

Working knowledge of capital infrastructure (data, systems, models, management and reporting) and management of key metrics.

Performance measurement and management concepts

Project and change management methodologies

Experience in leading and delivering Finance transformation program/projects that cover the full life cycle of assessment, design and implementation support

Knowledge and working experience on business processes

Completion of a degree in finance, accounting, economics or business administration

1+ years of relevant accounting experience will be considered an asset

Experience with financial statement modeling is considered an asset

Experience working with accounting and tax software (such as Quickbooks and Xero) is considered an asset

Preparation of financial reports with analysis and interpretation of financial data, trends, key performance indicators and other metrics

Development of financial models for a variety of applications, such as cash flow forecasting, budgeting, raising capital and valuations

Establish and maintain relationships with client management.

Audit or business experience in financial statement close or the application of accounting standards
