Field Technician Supervisor Jobs

Work closely with the Warehouse Manager in ordering materials for projects

Must have good working knowledge of roofing procedures and safety

Requires excellent communication, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills

3+ year’s supervisory/sales experience in roofing/construction

Experience with: TPO, EPDM, BUR, Foam, Metal, Acrylic & Coating Systems

Manage and maintain various data management systems

Experience and strong knowledge of tractor trailers, vacuum trucks, tankers and roll off trucks

Experience and strong knowledge of equipment such as loader, backhoe, skid steer and forklifts

Shows effective communication skills to lead and manage a crew

Abide by rules and requirements while on customers or GFL property

Ensure coordination with other departments and other shifts to clarify roles and responsibilities.

Source and manage all parts and the consignment parts corporately

Manage maintenance board for all trailers in the building

Manage and present repairs performance board weekly

Experience with Microsoft office 365 operation system

Experience with power & small tools

Experience working with a large fleet

Previous management and leadership experience is considered an asset

Ability to work logically and systematically, with good work time management

Problem-solving and decision-making skills plus the ability to think laterally while offering creative solutions

Additional duties and responsibilities may be required based on organization needs

GED or High School Diploma with both Energy pipelines and systems experience

Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills in all interactions with staff, general public, clients, and contractors
