Overview A Field Surveyor is responsible for conducting surveys in the field to collect data for mapping, engineering, and other projects. They use a variety of tools and techniques to measure and document the features of a given area, such as land boundaries, elevations, and other features. Field Surveyors must be able to work independently and in teams, and must be able to work in all types of weather conditions. Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in surveying, engineering, or a related field
• Professional certification in surveying
