Master’s degree in mathematics or related field with two years of subject matter teaching experience at university level.

This is a problem-solving course in which an extensive treatment of differential calculus and an introduction to integral calculus is given.

The course covers limits, continuity and differentiation of functions including exponential, logarithmic, trigonometric and inverse trigonometric functions.

Emphasis is placed on practical applications of the derivative such as graph sketching, extrema and related rate problems.

Other topics will include: anti-derivatives; area under curves; indeterminate forms and l’Hopital’s rule.

Proficiency in differential calculus is required

BA or a Minor in French and experience teaching French as a second language.

Excellent competence in written and spoken French is required.

FRAN 3657A: La littérature française du dix neuvième siècle

Strong organizational skills with excellent data management and time-management abilities.

Manage and administer school attendance (vacation/sick/lieu etc.) records. Tracks overtime accumulated by staff and coordinates office coverage.

Create forced timetables for programs with specialized registration requirements.

Minimum of five years related experience in a post-secondary institution.

Adaptability, flexibility and innovative problem-solving skills.

Demonstrates critical thinking skills to support decision-making and referral of issues to appropriate internal or external individuals.
