- Kamloops Food Policy Council Marketing and Events Assistant

Full-time, temporary contract (9 weeks), 30 hours/week.

Working with the communications team to coordinate fundraising campaigns with a social media strategy;

Assisting with community events hosted or thrown by The Stir/KFPC; helping plan and facilitate monthly network meetings.

The work will take place within a highly collaborative team environment with a distributed leadership model.

Assist in the creation, scheduling and management of content for social media;

Conduct research into customer trends and behaviours and report to management;

Manage all company social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc);

Source, recommend, learn, and adopt tools to drive efficiency and help deliver world-class experience;

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship skills;

Fast learner with an ability to adapt techniques based on requirements;
