Event Security Guard Jobs

Interact with the public and all levels of management and fellow employees

Ability to interact with all levels of staff including management

Provide directional assistance, as needed, by being knowledgeable about locations throughout the facility

Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills required

Deliver superior guest service while ensuring proper building and safety protocols are being followed

Respond to requests for assistance from staff and visitors for a variety of security issues (fire, medical emergencies, etc.)

1 year minimum of Supervision or Management Experience in related field.

Ensure Backwoods Management is notified of any incidents and violations.

1-3 years of Security Industry Experience

Provide 2-3 references from previous Direct Supervisors or Managers.

Work in Collaboration with Primary Event Supervisor or Event Manager to ensure operational success.

Ability to attend mandatory in-class training for 2-4 days depending on the site requirement

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Demonstrates superior customer service skills and able to work independently as well as part of a team

Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalant

Valid Security License for the province of Ontario

BST (Basic Security training) leading towards acquiring permanent valid security license.
