Esg Risk Analyst Jobs

Experience or education in data management and analysis with strong Excel and digital data platform use abilities.

Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills and an adaptable, flexible attitude to participate where needed.

Coordinate projects, manage timelines and complete administrative duties to ensure projects move ahead as required.

Experience in the analysis of utility data, energy, water, and waste data is preferred.

Experience or a strong interest in the energy, sustainability, GHG emissions and/or corporate social responsibility fields.

Ability to work well with cross-functional teams independently and remotely.

Support site implementation of Vale’s management model and enable model’s adoption.

Support the identification, mapping, and management of ESG risks for Vale’s sites/assets.

Minimum of 3-4 years relevant experience in similar subject area.

Experience in using data collection and analysis tools.

Coordinate and respond to external ESG questionnaires and surveys.

Proactive management and coordination of the ESG reporting calendar and management of ESG Connect page.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to understand their needs and turn requirements into feasible ESG solutions.

Gain a comprehensive understanding of key business processes/systems and leverage that knowledge to support the creation of improvement-related initiatives/projects.

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with experience using tools such as the Google suite, data visualization software, etc.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to write clear and concise reports and presentations.

Experience developing presentations, visualizations and dashboards for senior executives and an interest in developing advanced analytical capabilities

Knowledge and experience in quantitative model development, testing and validation.

- Researching technical methodologies for calculating E&S Risk metrics and targets – e.g. financed emissions, net-zero targets

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with or interest in agile or design thinking methodologies or frameworks.

Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders.
