Entry Level Mig Welder Jobs in British Columbia

Other duties as delegated by management.

2 years of welding experience in a shop environment.

Read and interoperate blueprints and manufacturing drawings.

Locate pieces of metal according to design specifications.

Use semi-automatic flame cutting, plasma cutting, and/or brazing equipment.

Ensure safety policies and practices are followed.

Prioritize work load based on production requirements and work within allotted hours and budget.

Perform quality checks as prescribed and report issues to Manager

Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes

Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications

Ability to evaluate weld quality to ensure suitable welds are applied the first time in preparation for quality inspection.

Operate and Troubleshoot robotic welding machine as required
