At least 2-years of recent experience as a Licensed RN in a hospital or acute setting

Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.

Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.

Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.

Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.

Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.

Knowledge of or ability to learn universal infection precautions,

Clean dishes, kitchen and restock according to instructions written,

Tidy living room and dining room,

Take laundry to laundry room, pre-treat, soak and initiate and advance laundry for as long as you are there cleaning,

Clean equipment and return to appropriate storage closets,

Respectful of confidentiality and safety of all clients and midwives,

Maintaining daily charting, monitoring nutritional intake, continuously assessing resident's care requirements

A current nursing license in Prince Edward Island or another Canadian province

Overseeing care team to provide exceptional care to residents
