Excellent time management, project prioritization and capabilities with troubleshooting

Regularly communicate progress and technical issues with Electrical Team Leads and Compliance Management

Develop and maintain up to date test procedures, test plans, EMC test reports and maintain knowledge of EMC regulations and standards

At least 5 years of progressive, direct testing experience in an EMC lab

Hands on experience with EMC test automation software like TILE!, EMC32, WIN 3000

Experience with interpreting and following interconnect drawings, cable harness, and wiring schematics

Assess compliance with fuel tank explosion prevention requirements for new and existing products.

Analyze modifications and non-conformances at aircraft level and evaluate compliance with certification regulations.

Minimum of 5 years working experience in the EMC specialty.

A general knowledge of aircraft and system design.

Knowledge of electromagnetic fields, theory and transmission line phenomena, antenna and propagation, signal integrity, EMI/EMC.

Knowledge of 14 CFR 25.954 and 25.981 regulations and fuel tank protection against lightning, HIRF, static electricity and other hazards.

Provide detailed scientific reports and formulate guidance for EMC hazards risk mitigation or management strategies

EMC testing of avionics and systems per MIL-STD-461/DO-160/IEC 61000 test standards, and overall awareness of EMC design principles and troubleshooting skills

Experience with EMI Test Receiver, Spectrum Analyzer, Digital Oscilloscope, Vector Network Analyzer, Signal Generators

Manage EMC laboratory with open field site and Semi Anechoic Chamber

Create test profiles in R&S EMC32, TDK, TILE, EMC Test Automation Software to meet requirements of different test specifications

Development and verification of System level electrical specifications and requirements
