Overview Electronics Engineering Technicians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment and systems. They use their technical knowledge and skills to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and to ensure that the equipment is functioning properly. Detailed Job Description Electronics Engineering Technicians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment and systems. They use their technical knowledge and skills to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and to ensure that the equipment is functioning properly. They may also be responsible for designing and building electronic components and systems, as well as testing and calibrating them. They may also be responsible for providing technical support and training to other technicians and customers. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of electronics and electrical systems
• Knowledge of computer systems and software
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Ability to use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
Job Qualifications
• Associate’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or related field
• Certification in Electronics Engineering Technology or related field
• Experience in electronics engineering technology
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of electronics and electrical systems
• Knowledge of computer systems and software
• Knowledge of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators
• Knowledge of safety procedures
Job Experience
• Experience in electronics engineering technology
• Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing problems
• Experience in providing technical support and training
