Ecg Assistant Jobs

Grade 12 plus one year's recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Perform Electrocardiogram (ECG) testing and equipment maintenance.

Provide test information to appropriate medical staff member for interpretation.

Ensure equipment is functioning and supply inventory is sustained to appropriate levels.

Current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification is required.

Recent related experience in performance of E.C.G., Stress Test and Holter monitoring is asset.

Working knowledge of Cerner, PACS, Philips Holter Software & M-Health considered an asset.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

Proven advanced decision making and problem solving abilities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of patients and stakeholders.

Monitors ECG test for artifacts and other anomalies and readjusts electrodes or patient position to ensure accurate test results are obtained.

Monitors supply stocks and advises supervisor of items for ordering.

Performs routine maintenance on equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
