Support and identify training needs and communicate such requirements to their manager

Minimum 5 years experience in the airline/aviation industry

Passionate about customer service and must have relevant work experience

Manage the teams work and make sure that the tasks are completed in the required delay and in a secure way.

Relevant experience in Airport Operations

Experience as a passenger agent, essential

Demonstrate judgment and problem-solving skills

Communicate the work instructions and procedures to the passenger services. Be a resourceful person for his team.

Perform all check-in procedures, including seat assignment, airport announcements and verification of proper documentation.

Demonstrate judgment and problem-solving skills

Welcome, inform and direct the passengers at the check-in counter.

Register the passengers as well as their luggage in the computer system.

At the gates, the passenger agent will proceed to the various announcements.

Assists passengers at arrivals and departures (unaccompanied minors, passengers needing wheelchairs, etc.).

Be able to react properly in case of emergency and apply the measures to be taken.

Experience and skills to deal with difficult people.

Assist and respond to any calls by the K9 Manager for additional service as required.

2+ years of security experience

Ability to accept direction and guidance (listening skills) follow instructions.

Provide K9 Patrol/Protection support in accordance with established procedures.

Ability to pass and maintain EDDHT Validations.

Post-secondary education in Aviation Management or a related field, or an equivalent level of education and experience

Knowledge and experience with Operations Control Airline software is an asset

Identify priority flights and plan accordingly based on specific requirements

Manage special services and passenger special care

Provide shift coverage as required for the Operations Specialist and/or OCC Manager, to ensure staffing levels are met

A minimum of two years of work experience in an Airline Operations Centre or Airport will be an asset

Training or post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in subjects such as Aviation Management, Business Administration or Safety Administration.

Developing and implementing Observer Communicator on-the-job training, refresher training and certification;

Experience critically reviewing, writing precisely and systematically implementing operations manuals and procedures.

Experience proactively and productively collaborating with a wide audience of stakeholders and general public members.

Experience driving on airside, communicating on radios, and working in an airport environment (asset).

NAV CANADA Observer Communicator or Flight Service Specialist training and experience (asset)
