Overview The Director of Property Management is responsible for overseeing the management of a portfolio of properties, including residential, commercial, and industrial. This includes overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing budgets, and ensuring that all properties are maintained to the highest standards. The Director of Property Management is also responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize the value of the properties and ensure that they are meeting the needs of the tenants. Detailed Job Description The Director of Property Management is responsible for overseeing the management of a portfolio of properties, including residential, commercial, and industrial. This includes overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing budgets, and ensuring that all properties are maintained to the highest standards. The Director of Property Management is also responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize the value of the properties and ensure that they are meeting the needs of the tenants.The Director of Property Management will be responsible for:
• Developing and implementing strategies to maximize the value of the properties
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the properties
• Managing budgets and ensuring that all properties are maintained to the highest standards
• Negotiating leases and contracts with tenants
• Ensuring that all properties are in compliance with local, state, and federal laws
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the properties
• Developing and maintaining relationships with tenants, vendors, and other stakeholders
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the properties
Job Skills Required

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to problem solve and think critically
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws related to property management
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial management
• Knowledge of real estate and leasing laws
• Knowledge of building maintenance and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in property management
• Professional certification in property management (e.g. CPM, RPA, etc.)
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws related to property management
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial management
• Knowledge of real estate and leasing laws
• Knowledge of building maintenance and safety regulations
Job Experience
• 5+ years of experience
