Director Of Credit Jobs

Minimum 5-7 years of complex construction and commercial real estate lending experience with 5 years of advanced management experience

Strong organizational and time management skills

Lead Credit Risk Management Committee meetings and present transactions requiring that level of approval, per the Bank’s delegated authority policies.

Post-secondary education (diploma/degree) in business or finance.

Advanced technical knowledge of commercial lending, financial statement analysis and factors affecting the Canadian commercial lending environment.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to set strong examples for subordinates

Structured Finance - Credit Analyst, Associate Director - Asset Backed Securities - Toronto

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

Analyzing the critical credit, legal and structural elements of ABS transaction structures;

Assisting in the development of ratings criteria, including writing relevant reports and developing recommendations to bolster analysis;

Deployment and implementation of cashflow models and tools used in the rating process;

Leading and/or supporting research projects; and

At least seven years of experience in financial industry, preferably but not necessarily related to CLOs or Structured Finance.

Exceptional level of personal responsibility, appropriate initiative and self-management.

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (finance, engineering, economics, etc.).

Interest in capital markets and structured finance.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; working knowledge of programming languages is a plus but not required.
