They are responsible for following dietary guidelines and regulations when preparing and serving meals. They must ensure that meals are prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner. Dietary Aides must also be able to read and understand recipes and food labels. They must be able to accurately measure ingredients and follow instructions. Dietary Aides must also be able to communicate effectively with other staff members and patients.
