DevOps Specialist in Test Jobs

Five-to-seven (5-to-7) years job experience—a blend of training, procedures and project management knowledge

Support billing and customer care initiatives. Your project management skills will be vital when they are needed.

Applied experience with the development of policies, processes and procedures for Service Management activity, including workflow for client and service management

Extensive, directly related knowledge and experience of the electric industry structure in Alberta and the roles and responsibilities of market participants.

Manage vendor relationships by laying out expectations and keeping lines of communication open.

Five (5) years training and documentation experience

Experience working within Agile, Lean, Prince2 or PMBOK project management organisations;

Demonstrable database management and administration capabilities;

Demonstrable broad industry knowledge and experience as it relates to “as a Service” architectures and associated trends;

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a hands-on technical roles (software engineering, DevOps, customer support, or similar);

Ability to work autonomously and as part of an agile team environment with strong communication and collaboration skills;

A Bachelor (or higher) degree in a technology field, or equivalent experience.

Experience should include system evaluation, installation, configuration, and management.

With strong experience of current and emerging Cyber Security technologies.

Hands-on experience with multiple DDoS technologies such as Arbor, Radware, Silverline, and Cloud Armor.

Experience with Juniper and Nokia routers, BGP, Flowspec, and SNMP would be beneficial.

·Demonstrated programming skills and previous experience developing test scripts using Python

·Experience with various communication protocols and interfaces (for example, JTAG, CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, RS485, RS232, etc.)

·Knowledge of wireless communication principles

·Good knowledge and understanding of electrical circuit fundamentals

·Create, execute and maintain test plans to verify and validate new product designs;

·Identify, develop and maintain scripts, tools and automation test cases using Python or NI TestStand;

Configured and provisioned management tools (such as Ansible or CloudFormation)

Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security best practices throughout the development process.

Several years of hands-on experience in software, DevOps, or Platform engineering-related roles within cloud ecosystems.

Experience in a tech company involving cross-team collaboration to integrate systems across various tech stacks and product lines.

Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools (such as Datadog and CloudWatch) and incident response processes.

Driven to problem-solve, independently and with collaborators, and seek to continuously improve your skills, methods, and practices.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Specialization in Aerospace and Aeronautical is an asset.

At least three years of relevant experience. Knowledge of aircraft systems, pilot license are an asset.

Prepare engineering test plans to ensure that specifications and design requirements can be verified and validated.

Lead the CAE team during simulator qualification with the local authorities.

Knowledge of aeronautical industry processes: manufacturing, maintenance, software, is an asset.
