Overview Design and Manufacturing Engineers are responsible for the design, development, and production of products and components. They work with a variety of materials and processes to create products that meet customer requirements. They must be able to identify and solve problems, as well as develop and implement cost-effective solutions. Design and Manufacturing Engineers must be able to analyze customer needs and develop designs that meet those needs. They must be able to create detailed drawings and specifications for the production of products and components.
