Design Line Manager Jobs in British Columbia

Seven (7) years of experience in architecture or design;

Proven experience and deep expertise in one or more areas of the Design function visioning, positioning, development, etc.;

Strong consultation skills and the ability to facilitate the co-creation of solutions with the business;

International Design experience outside of Canada will be considered an asset.

Lead the articulation and development of our design projects to drive design direction that maximize brand alignment;

Integrate owner’s, customer, and stakeholder’s insights into customer values design driven decisions;

Bachelor's degree in a related field (project management, communications, design management) or equivalent work experience. (7+ years).

Project Management platform experience. (Monday, asana, basecamp)

Proven experience as a Design Manager, Studio Lead, Traffic Manager, or similar role in a design, agency and/or creative environment.

Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.

Proficiency in using Sharepoint, Digital Asset Management systems, Microsoft Office.

Enforces departmental timelines set by Traffic Manager.

Strong project management abilities, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse teams.

Proven experience as a Design Manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably in a web design or development environment.

Experience Requirements for This Role

Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including marketing professionals and developers, to understand project requirements and goals.

Lead on the recruitment process for web-development roles, conducting interviews and assessing candidates' design skills and fit with the team.
