Min 5 yrs Merchandising/Category Management experience in retail or foodservice.

Must have Management experience in Bakery, Beverages, and Diary services.

Develop Region/Site tools for use in implementing Category Management events (POS, event GAP analysis tools, Sysco Brand tools).

Responsible to help develop Category Analysts to successfully fill succession into Category Management positions.

Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.

Sales experience is an asset.

Analyze sales data and continuously assess product offerings to ensure assortment optimization, including managing discontinuation.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, can clearly present information to various audiences.

Experience with merchandising would be an asset.

Experience with purchasing, financial analysis, and inventory control would be an asset.

A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI.
