IT Cybersecurity Officer Jobs

Works with clients in defining information security requirements for projects and ensures project compliance to these requirements.

Authors/reviews security architecture for clients and provides recommendations based on best practices or based on regulatory compliance requirements.

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related major from an accredited University or equivalent College Diploma and related experience.

CISSP, CISA, CISM, or SANS Certifications

A good understanding of Linux, Windows and network security skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

Infrastructure - Servers and Desktop management in an Active Directory Environment is an asset;

Maintain a good working knowledge of the day-to-day operating environment, available tools, operating techniques, and end-user applications;

Bachelor’s degree in computer studies or equivalent work experience;

Must have excellent interpersonal skills and must be able to work in a team environment;

Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Monitor and report on compliance with information security policies;

Experience in IT system support and administration, help desk operations, software quality assurance, change management and technology adoption.

Experience with and knowledge of security, risk, and control frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, ISO 27001 and CIS

Provide general knowledge and recommendations for security best practices aligned with industry standards.

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

CISSP certification required with other industry related certifications preferred such as CCSK, CISM.

Ability to provide strategic direction, develop and mentor people to achieve results and manage external vendors.

Experience in a helpdesk environment

3 to 5 years experience working in an IT Administrator role or related position

Experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure

Excellent knowledge of infrastructure and network technologies (Switches, VPNs, Access Points, servers, visualization, networking, end-user computing, etc.)

Provide user support as part of a decentralized support team

Support web services and cloud-based applications at the direction of the team lead.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Project management, ITIL, and/or change management certifications are preferred

Report progress and status updates to senior management and stakeholders on a regular basis.

Budget, financial and contract management according to IT PMO, Corporate and Divisional standards

Shape, lead and manage the IT / OT cybersecurity convergence program to ensure the program objectives are met

Develop and manage relationships with key vendors and partners to ensure successful delivery of the program.

Strong technical, planning, and leadership skills are required.

Effective problem solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge in IT and information security practices .

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS

Experience with cybersecurity tools, such as Wireshark or Metasploit, is a plus

Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing

Review and analyze security policies and procedures to identify areas for improvement
