Education and/or experience in agronomy or horticulture

Demonstrated ability to manage a team of farm workers

Experience operating farm machinery relating to the planting and harvest of potato or similar crops

Assist Seed Operations Manager with agronomic decisions

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Proficiency with computers and using Microsoft Office

Provide regular reports to the management team on the performance of the farm's administrative operations.

Manage and maintain accurate farm records, including financial, personnel, and production records.

Collaborate with the farm manager and other departmental heads to develop and implement strategies for improving productivity and profitability.

Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Manage the procurement of farm supplies and equipment.

Monitor and manage the farm's budget, ensuring that all expenses are accounted for and kept within budgetary constraints.

Skills and experience for the next step in your career.

Experience in farming is an asset

Experience in operating tractors and other farming related equipment is an asset

The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:

Farm operations including animal care and poultry husbandry

Record-keeping (monitoring of equipment, feeders, etc.)

This position is for someone who:

-Keeping the cook motivated and positive

-Providing solutions to help them

-Fill out our reports after each call

Previous culinary experience in a full-service restaurant or bar with strong culinary production skills

Gain valuable leadership skills and experience

Actively lead shifts, in support of senior leadership team members while helping to manage budgetary goals

Previous culinary leadership experience considered an asset

Produce all menu items in an efficient and consistent manner while following the specifications of the company

Contribute to a positive team morale through contests and supporting team members on shift
