Translate technical information in Product and OCTO materials to ensure accessibility for less technically literate audiences.

Collaborate closely with our brilliant team to develop and maintain procedural guidelines that uphold our impeccable standards.

Familiarity with proofreading guidelines (including Ramat) is a definite plus.

Hold an undergraduate degree related to the English language, such as linguistics, literature, or communications.

Exemplary command of written and spoken English, coupled with a solid understanding of French.

2 years prior experience taking direction and working with the account management teams

Customer service skills, with 2 years of experience working in a role that works with different agency teams i.e., creative, account

Work closely with the Creative Services Manager /production team to ensure that jobs are completed in a timely manner

Partner with Traffic Manager to understand schedules, changing priorities, volume, etc.

Check to see if the job done by the studio meets all requirements

Manage ongoing enhancements to the Brand & Creative style guide

Provide thought leadership across our Identity Management and Privileged Access space

Lead and participate in IAM project including product lifecycle management

Remain current on developments in the Identity and Access Management space

Identity management platforms (Azure AD, Idaptive, Okta, Duo etc.)

Internal Certificates, SSL certificates, Key Management Services

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.

4+ years of experience as a proofreader/copy editor for a marketing and/or advertising agency.

Confirming all copy and legal follows client brand guidelines and is correct and accurate.

Ensuring content, dates, etc., on artwork are correct and accurate.

Working on a variety of marketing communications, including sales aids, digital assets, CRM assets, etc.

Certifying all symbols and trademarks included in the creative are correct and accurate.

Assisting with creation and documentation of copy and content standards.

3+ years of experience editing and/or proofreading communications in a digital publication, advertising, or in-house creative environment.

Edit and proofread editorial, marketing, and social media copy.

Review projects at various stages of the editorial and design process.

Exercise quality control to ensure the highest standards of style and writing (grammar, spelling, syntax, diction, and punctuation).

Work with key team members to proof and/or evolve editorial style guides.

Ensure client and creative feedback and other revisions have been applied correctly.

Excellent organization, prioritization, time and resource management skills.

Work with management/executive on updating existing reporting templates; advise on new products and templates.

Ensure that non-billable proofreading is limited through coordination and communication with Researchers and the Research Manager.

Continuously learn and master editing and proofreading skills

Participate in regular meetings with the Research Manager.

Arrange for and authorize external researchers/translators, as required; maintain researcher listing with relevant qualification details.

Experience in a similar position or in a related field (an asset).

Candidates should be available to work from home and in-office according to project demands.

Proofreading texts and video game content (spelling, syntax, typography).

Checking texts for consistency and recommending changes where necessary.

Ensuring subtitles match the audio tracks.

Proficiency in English and Spanish-European (spoken and written).

Superior knowledge of the English language, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation

Advanced knowledge of writing styles

The motivation to work on their own, manage changing priorities, and to meet deadlines

Proficient knowledge with MS Office

Excellent editing and proofreading skills

Excellent interpersonal skills to build working relationships; ability to negotiate delivery times due to competing deadlines.

Excellent grammar and punctuation skills

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Typing speed of at least 40 WPM

Attention to detail is a must

Windows-based PC running Windows 10 or 11

Microsoft Word 2013 or newer or Office 365
