Crisis Communication Coordinator Jobs in Alberta

Effective written and verbal communication skills, formal facilitation experience an asset.

Performs personal safety threat assessments and engages in safety planning with SAC clients to help prevent additional experiences of harm.

Mentors and provides ongoing emotional support to CI Volunteers to ensure their wellbeing and minimize experiences of vicarious trauma.

Extensive knowledge of anti-sexual violence advocacy, sexual and gender-based violence response and prevention, crisis intervention support, and suicide intervention.

High level of critical thinking, analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.

Experience supervising and mentoring a team of volunteers.

The candidate should have experience in emergency response/crisis management development.

Update the Crisis Communications Manual on a monthly basis, gain approval, and prepare copies for management on a quarterly basis.

Assist business lines with their Crisis Communications manuals & training requirements.

Prioritize and manage multiple projects and initiatives within a busy media team.

The candidate should have excellent leadership experience in crisis communication.

The candidate must be a native English speaker, with excellent English writing and presentation skills.

The candidate should have experience in emergency response/crisis management development.
