Creative Industrial Designer Jobs in Alberta

3+ years’ experience with designing products, including design for manufacturing. Lighting industry experience preferred.

Attention to detail – especially when interpreting project requirements, as well as technical and architectural drawings.

Experience with rapid prototyping and other mechanical tasks.

Understanding of electrical components and technology. Knowledge of lighting is a very strong asset.

Ability to adjust to changing project requirements in a fast-paced work environment.

Conceptualize and design new lighting products to expand upon Edison’s portfolio

There will be other reasonable activities required by management.

Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong interpersonal skills.

Review and interpret specifications adapting our modular systems to the requirements.

Work with the sales team, project managers, Engineers, Architects, and designers.

Experience designing commercial spaces is an asset.

Hands-on experience with Revit, AutoCAD, or other 3D software.
