10+ years related work experience

Experience in Corporate Strategy within Entertainment or Technology industries

Experience evaluating tech-centric product opportunities in Technology or Entertainment industries, including both organic and inorganic (i.e., M&A) opportunities

Prior experience in top tier management consulting, investment banking or similar strategy roles preferred

Lead activities such as milestone and impact planning reviews and approvals, budget planning and management

Own progress and management reporting; providing a holistic and objective view of results

5 years combined education and experience in a strategy function within large multi-national corporation. Within a Financial Institution is a plus

Excellent analytical capabilities, very comfortable with quantitative & financial analysis. High level of conceptual skills and an ability to operate strategically

Develop and manage an integrated plan for the initiative, ensuring key metrics and success criteria are developed

Present strong recommendations in a timely manner outlining the consideration of other options, costs, benefits and risks

Experience of business planning or of developing corporate performance reports to include advising on selection of key performance indicators.

Experience of working effectively across team boundaries of developing effective relationships with stakeholders.

Highly effective organisational and prioritisation skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with diverse range of people (e.g., differing disciplines, levels of knowledge, seniority) both verbally and in writing.

5+ years in a Strategy role with applicable experience in Management Consulting, Strategy roles or Corporate Development.

Project management abilities to structure work in executable pieces, support complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.

8-10 years of work experience

Strong financial/business acumen applied to our core businesses, with experience in Retail, Healthcare or Real Estate considered an asset

Creative problem-solving skills to tackle complex projects and deal with unstructured problems

Interact effectively with external advisors (e.g., consultants, bankers, financial advisors, lawyers)

Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively handle contending responsibilities and deadlines, while adjusting to evolving priorities

5-10 years of experience, oil and gas experience preferred

Excellent business writing and strong oral communication skills

Help coordinate and author high-quality materials (memos and presentations) to facilitate annual executive and Board strategy sessions

Collaborate with teams and subject matter experts across the company to understand asset development plans, strategic challenges and opportunities

Help evaluate alternatives that inform recommended strategic actions and corporate priorities

Bachelors degree and 2+ years of relevant experience in management consulting and/or corporate strategy

Excellent Excel skills and working SQL knowledge, or willingness to learn SQL quickly

Excellent qualitative & quantitative analytical skills with financial modelling expertise required for market sizing and long term planning
