Corporate Management Policy Consultant Jobs

Considerable experience in policy development and legislation;

Experience providing recommendations and strategic advice to decision-makers;

Experience managing human and financial resources;

Minimum of five (5) years clinical nursing experience required.

Previous experience engaging, leading, and managing project work groups required; working respectfully and collaboratively to build consensus

Knowledge and application of the IWK Leadership Framework (LEADS)

Demonstrates effective communication skills with individuals and groups (written, presentation, verbal & non-verbal)

Demonstrates strong problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

Experience with project management and time tracking software

Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning, organizational, and time-management skills.

5+ years experience in a regulatory compliance and financial services role or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience capturing and documenting complex regulatory requirements and resulting operational impacts

Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or related field

Prior experience drafting policies and procedures at a financial institution is desirable

Utilization of change management strategies to lead projects and initiatives within the policy office portfolio

Knowledge and experience in policy drafting preferred

Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines

Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of evidence-based approaches to inform policy development, organizational planning, and quality improvement initiatives
