Recent experience with Gas Turbines Compressor Control is an added advantage.

Good working experience with Honeywell DCS (Distributed Control System) and Honeywell ESD (Emergency Shutdown System).

Experience in plant instrumentation sizing and control design for pressure, temperature, level, flow, etc.

Knowledge of instrumentation and control system design, project handling, studies, troubleshooting, and plant trip investigation.

Take responsibility for the Instrumentation and Controls tasks and deliverable to meet quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

Instrumentation Diploma or higher 4 - 10 years Instrumentation experience in the oil and gas industry

Experience with various control systems (PLC and DCS) and HMI systems

Familiarity and experience with IEC61508 and IEC61511

Safety engineering certification would be an asset (Exida or TUV)

3. Evaluate and manage PCOs from the Construction Contractor.

4. Coordinate with Design Engineer on potential design changes and manage engineering change notices with Construction Contractor.

5. Evaluate and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).

10. Experience with ABB Infi-90 hardware and Symphony Plus Engineering/Operations preferred.

11. Experience troubleshooting graphics, logic, instrumentation, equipment issues as it relates to the control system.

12. Experience reading electrical wiring diagrams and schematics preferred.

EDUCATION: B.S. in Engineering. MS or higher qualification is desirable.

EXPERIENCE: Fifteen (15) years of relevant operations engineering experience.

Provide high-level engineering expertise in the resolution of plant operational problems. May provide work direction to lower classified engineers.

Formulate and implement long-term strategies to improve operations and reduce costs. Defines the long-term technical direction of the assigned operating area.

Lead groups of engineers in the commissioning/start-up phase of complex projects and the mothballing/demothballing of existing plants.

Minimum five years of experience developing and testing control systems;

In-depth knowledge of PLCs and SCADA programming and configuration, including familiarity with several IEC61131 languages;

Excellent oral and written communication skills;

Experience in the nuclear industry;

Work as part of a technical project team to deliver technical documentation, hardware, and software to customers;

Support proposal preparations as required.
