Continiung Care Assistant Jobs

Medication Management: Administer medications as per the prescribed schedule and document all medication-related activities accurately.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Additional healthcare-related certifications or training are advantageous.

Experience: Prior experience as a Care Assistant or in a related role is preferred, but not mandatory for entry-level positions.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.

First Aid and CPR Certification: Possession of valid First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.

Mobility Assistance: Support clients in moving around, transferring, and using mobility aids, ensuring their safety and comfort.

£13.00 - £14.00 per hour depending on experience

Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit

Supporting with clinical duties, including supporting the nurse to observe, issue medication, review care plans and accurate record keeping

Driving and managing a team of Care Assistants, including responsible for all shift handovers of the teams

Helping with training and supervision of new staff members so they feel welcomed and supported
