Overview: Concession Merchandisers are responsible for stocking and selling merchandise in concession stands at sporting events, concerts, and other entertainment venues. They must be knowledgeable about the products they are selling and be able to provide excellent customer service. How To Become an Concession Merchandiser: To become a Concession Merchandiser, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in customer service. You should also have basic math skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Concession Merchandiser Skills: Customer service, cash handling, product knowledge, math skills, communication, problem solving, organization, and time management. Concession Merchandiser Knowledge: Knowledge of concession stand products, pricing, and promotions. Concession Merchandiser Responsibilities: Stocking and selling merchandise, providing excellent customer service, handling cash, and restocking shelves. Concession Merchandiser Experience: Previous experience in customer service and cash handling is preferred. Concession Merchandiser Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Concession Merchandiser Education: No formal education is required, but some employers may prefer applicants with a degree in business or a related field. Tools: Cash registers, calculators, and point-of-sale systems. Tips: Be friendly and helpful to customers, stay organized, and be aware of promotions and discounts.Common Interview Questions:
