Compression Press Operator Jobs

We support a hybrid work environment consisting of flexible remote and in-person collaboration.

Specify and procure critical parts and manage key supply chain efforts.

Support commissioning of new equipment to verify quality control and that each unit meets all functional requirements.

5+ years’ experience in natural gas compression (CNG), process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation design and engineering of equipment.

Experience with compressor package design, piping, electrical and control systems is an asset.

Aptitude and desire for hands-on work combined with strong analytical skills.

Minimum of 1 year experience with press set-up

Sound knowledge of statistical techniques to identify process improvements opportunities

Good documentation and organizational skills

Working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001 systems and WHIMS

Operate production equipment and produce parts to outlined requirements by using the tools provided (quality and quantity)

Be willing to upgrade skills through on the job training

Problem resolution escalation, SRI, By-Pass Management

DWI and MOS knowledge and follow through

2 - 5 years related experience

Strong mechanical skills, manufacturing experience, and the capacity to follow detailed instructions.

Must have experience and knowledge ofKomori UV Press and Mitsubishi Press

Must have experience in a commercial or trade printing company or equivalent manufacturing industry.

Experience with commercial sheetfed work preferred is an asset

Excellent organizational and mathematical skills

Solid knowledge of 4 color process & registration.

Maintain CMMS (Computer Management Maintenance System) on a continuous basis

Establishes changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments

The best suited candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years field service compressor experience

Natural Gas Compression and additional OEM and industry training beneficial in lieu of experience

Basic skills in the use of computer-based programs such as MS 365

Previous experience as machine operator - press machine an asset but not required

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Overtime Paid at 40 hours

8 hour shifts, with weekends off

Competitive salary of $17.50/h + $1.10/h (evening bonus)

You will have the choice between the daytime schedule (8 a.m.-4 p.m.) or the evening schedule (4 p.m.-midnight)
