Recreation Therapist - Community Mental Health

Excellent time management, organization and problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to set priorities required.
Knowledge of leisure education and leisure counselling processes required.
Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist by the National Council for Therapeutic creation Certification (NCTRC) required.
Two (2) years’ experience working as a Recreation Therapist required; Mental Health and Addictions experience is preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in leisure/recreation assessment and intervention.
Knowledge of various mental and physical health conditions and their impact on health, well-being, and quality of life required.
